"It’s a historic hotel. The lobby is nice and the rooftop deck is fantastic. The rooms, however, are so drab and unadorned that they feel depressing, all brown and beige. The bed was comfortable. Several lightbulbs didn’t work, ditto for the hair dryer. It feels like it would take very little money and imagination to make the rooms warmer and more inviting. All in all, I think it’s worth it for the location."

"Hotel staff were very professional and exceeded expectations. They were very knowledgeable about what there was to do and where things were in the area. It is sad to say that the hotel is in need of a renovation, water spots in the ceiling in the bathroom, messed up creaking room floors but besides some renovations that are desperately needed, hotel was great over all, especially for the price. Will return again. Forgot to mention, great in hotel restaurant with awesome plates to chose from!!!"

Even with my broken Spanish they always understood and were very helpful. Two minor points: It would have been nice to have more than just the two bath towels, as they had to be used for everything, hand and facial washing/drying, etc. The room had a little damage to the walls that needed some touch up paint.
