"This property was good for my wife and I. Everything we needed was available. The location is good with a lovely stroll along the water into the town centre. Parking outside on the road was not ideal and it was our 3rd day before we could park directly outside of the house. Only downside was the based bedroom, this is not suitable for use. It is noisy due to hum of fans and dehumidifer that was needed to keep the damp smell down. Great house if you are looking for one bedroom."

"The property is very clean and modern, recently refurbished. It is not huge but comfortable with quality fittings and furniture everywhere. The main bedroom has a big bed (queen I think) and outdoor access via doors but no other window so you do need to leave open for air at night. A fan would be great. The only comment would be more clothes storage would be a benefit throughout. There are a couple of shelves and hanging but no drawers. Upstairs is two singles with a very low ceiling. Ideal for...

"Wonderful spacious house and garden in a a great location. Marsilly has many facilities including a supermarket, boulangerie, take away pizza shop and bar. La Rochelle is also only a 20 minute drive away."

"Beautiful house on a corner terrace, photos were accurate the property was very well equipped. The availability of the garage was useful for our bikes and roof box. The local town had a daily market selling amazing produce, the local bakery was also amazing along with an ice cream parlour which made fabulous waffles. The nearby sandy beach was within walking distance and had a nice bar. It was easy to hire a bike and use the many bike paths to visit other towns on the island. We would definitely...

"Le titre chambre d'hôte est trompeur, nous n'avons eu aucun accueil comme dans les chambres d'hôtes que nous avons déjà connu ailleurs. Nous avons loué 2 semaines en octobre les jours sont plus courts, l'éclairage de la chambre est insuffisant pour cette saison. Le confort et les espaces de rangement sont restreints. "We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "
