"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....

"Casa Marisa is the perfect place to stay for a trip to Puglia. Salvatore is a kind and gracious host willing to share many tips on Castellana Grotte and many other nearby cities. The grounds are absolutely beautiful (pictures do not do it justice) and the house is immaculately clean. Beds are so comfortable...we all slept like babies! I highly recommend this villa if you want to be close to many beautiful cities in Puglia and would like a knowledgeable host that will take care of you. We could not have been happier here!"
