"We stayed for 6 nights in Villa Olimpia. We had a very good arrival at the house with Ruth, the host. She gave us some tips to eat and made the reservations to the restaurants because I don't speak much italian. The house was very wel equiped and very spacious. Big kitchen, good quality beds and 2 bathrooms. And a nice swimmingpool outside with fantastic view on the surrounding mountains. At a few miles you have Grizzana Morandi where you can find a small grocerieshop, a bakery and even a small bar where you can have a drink. We loved our stay. Reccomended! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay a 6Stanco. Ruth is an excellent host, providing us with lots of advice both before and during our stay. The appartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Stanco is a small village but the local shop in Grizzana is well stocked and larger supermarkets are available in nearby towns. Both Florence and Bologna can be visited from the local train station, with rail fares making it a cheaper option than driving. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We only visited Nel Castagneto where we had excellent lunches and wine.Definitely recommend visiting this area of Italy"
