Riverside Hotel

"Nice location .. not far from Kendal town centre.. secure covered parking.. Check in was handled by a lovely lady and she was so friendly and welcoming The room was clean ,spacious and comfortable. Double bed .tea and coffee making facilities .. TV..iron.. Only reason for star rating was the room just needed a freshen up with a coat of paint and there was a broken chair.. but please don't be put off... this hotel has so much it's easily 5star.. Lovely views of the river from the room...sit on the balcony outside the restaurant and just relax or enjoy the jacuzzi or sauna..or work out in the gym or swimming pool.. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we are traveling this way again.. The lady on reception when we checked out said we were free to use the spar and gym until we were ready to go home..."

"Fantastic stay at the Belsfield Hotel Lake Windermere. They were very helpful Breakfast was good .Loads of parking spaces. Rooms were cleaned regularly. Defiantly booking to stay there next year.2minuite walk to the lacks and shops."

"Room 302 was fine Room318 was noisy with noise coming through the wall from the boiler The macerator was noisy when using the toilet. The toilet linkage had come undone so the toilet would not flush. There was hot water going into the cistern in 318."

"The hotel was very well maintained and super clean one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in the Uk, the staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating they kept our luggage as we planned a hike and the breakfast was lovely too. We hadn’t had the time to use the spa facilities or anything else. We would recommend this hotel as everything is super close and convenient. Thank you to all the staff"

"We had a great stay here from start to finish. The room was stunning and the spa facilities were nice. The views onto the lake are gorgeous and every meal we had was great too. The hotel is right next to where a cruise departs from to go to Bowness which was lovely too. I would really recommend a stay here."

"The room was clean, but in need of some TLC. The lights did work, when the receptionist was told she came fiddled with the light bulbs, eventually they came back on. Once turned off they would not come back on. Very much felt that was an issue the hotel knew about, but had not fixed. The staff at breakfast were not welcoming. When the breakfast came the bacon and black pudding were not fully cooked. The sausage was poor quality and very peppery. Rather disappointing. Will not be staying again."
