"Spectacular stay. You walk in and are immediately greeted and ushered to your room. A lot of staff for just a small place. Nice bottle of wine in your room. Free beer and soda in the fridge. Chocolate cookies always available. Amazing happy hour (all the wine you want plus charcuterie). Super nice place, lots of places to find a private place to read a book. Gorgeous view of the winery/grapes. 7 minute walk to the winery. Great place to meet and chat with other guests. Spectacular white...
"This was a beautiful, quiet and serene setting as a stop over on our way to our son’s graduation in Lynchburg. Brenda and Kevin were very accommodating and kind. The place was so quaint and full of character! Loved our room and the bed was so comfy!"

"Linda is creating a true gem in her property and experiences for guest stays. We were the only couple staying the night we were there and treated to a beautiful and delicious breakfast spread in the morning. She gave us space but was also very personable and delightful to talk with. I wish we had more time to spend there and would love to go back as the property and guest experiences continue to evolve!"

"First time at a bed and breakfast. Very enjoyable and more important relaxing spot away from the craziness of the city. Room was perfect and I actually enjoyed the room not having a tv which was a great way to disconnect and I appreciate that! Would come back here again for a wine trip!"
"Welcoming host in an interesting converted building. There’s not much in the immediate area we travelled out to Staunton to eat which was also a nice town."

"We had a lovely weekend at Meadowcroft and hope to visit again. The room was well appointed, comfortable and clean, the scenery around the Inn was gorgeous, and the owner was kind and engaging. "

"Disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other was our goal and the Jacob Swoope Suite sure did accommodate. We spent the evening talking in front of the fire. Then woke to the birds singing and warm french toast.
We loved our stay at the Inn at Meadowcroft and would recommend it. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer."

"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"Booked this property for 3 nights as we were attending a VMI graduation and a wedding. This was perfect. Linda made our stay awesome. We did a red-eye in and were able to check in early for a quick nap. The breakfast every morning was sooooo good. She even arranged a tea tasting, which unfortunately we were not able to attend because of our conflicting schedule. The room was large and comfortable. They use StarLink WiFi so no problems with connectivity. Linda's attitude made the visit in...

"We highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is in close proximity to a great Indian restaurant down the hill and the American Shakespeare Center's Blackfriar Theater right next door. We were thrilled to experience a great performance of The Winter's Tale. We also appreciated that the hotel was willing to correct the date of our reservation at the same rate (we accidentally reserved the following night). "
"Overall experience was fantastic. Staff was friendly. Service was great. Room was clean & ready. Bed was very comfy.
The only complaint I have, which is super minor and obviously due to the age, is that some flooring and other surfaces are super worn. Realistically you're fine to walk around bare foot, there's just some uneven spots and the super unlikely chance you may get a splinter or hit a nail sticking up."
