"This hotel is one we return to often when visiting Manchester usually for music concerts. It is consistantly well priced especially as there are 3 of us. Free parking and easy taxi journey or tram ride (stop is a 15 min walk) into the city. The rooms aren't fancy and may have a few small issues (cracks in the sink) but they are clean and the beds are comfortable. We heard very little noise despite the place being full of youngsters attending "park life" concert. Staff are friendly and helpful. We love Manchester for music and will definitely be back."

"Lovely big clean room bar the smell of fresh paint as you walked in and the bathroom door sticking. All the staff were lovely though and plenty of parking spaces plus a a good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Lots of other eateries if you so wished within a 2 to 5 minute radius too and the Aston Moss tram stop which will get you to Co-op Live Arena / The Etihad stadium and beyond about a 10 minite walk away."

"I stayed in a room with a king size bed which was as very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice. All the staff were very friendly and one young lad who was training to work on the front desk, helped me with my check in and showed and helped me down some steps to my room with my suitcase and bags. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to use the facilities this time but I have used them many times in the past and enjoyed them."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )"

Cosy cottage with a touch of luxury

"It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. My partner has had a stroke and walks with a stick but was able to cover the distance from the road, but there aren't any railings and it's a short distance uphill and downhill so worth thinking about if you do have mobility issues as it would've been too hard for him six months ago. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a restful retreat from which to explore the area."
