"Hotel is perfectly situated in heart of Cologne along the Rhein River. It was only an 8 minute walk to the Cathedral and very close to many restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and available when we needed them The only downside was that they only had a combo shampoo/body wash in the room. I traveled light on the toiletries because most, if not all, hotels I’ve stayed at have had conditioner and lotion. So unfortunately I had to go and purchase some travel sized bottles. "

"Top quality room and kind staff. Sadly at 29e the breakfast cost was much too high so I had to eat out for breakfast. Also make sure you ask for daily cleaning of rooms as I got an unpleasant surprise when I came back to my room after a long hard day at an exhibition. For some reason Dorint’s policy is to clean rooms every second day!!!! I have travelled all over the world and never come across this even in 3rd world countries. Also sad that you have to pay a large amount to use the indoor pool. But nice places to eat nearby, very nice and spacious room with tea making facilities and walking distance to the wonderful Cathedral and station."

"This hotel is very convenient when coming in my train and is right across from the church. Very easy to get to. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The walls look a bit dated and the noise from the construction right next door is loud during the day. You can hear people above and below you. The beds are hardy then what we like but everything was very clean. I would stay here again "

"Cologne has several CityClass Hotels, which may get a little confusing upon searching for the proper location, but once we found ours we were pleased. The hotel is located close enough to several popular spots, such as the cathedral and main station, but tucked away so it's quiet. It was a smaller room, but comfy enough. The only downside was temperature, as the AC blew very lightly. I'm not sure it ever really got to temp, but fortunately the front desk had a small fan available that assisted in some better airflow for the room. My brother and I both run very hot, especially when sleeping, so this was a game-changer! Overall, the staff was wonderful and the hotel was perfect for what we needed."
