"If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. "Our stay at Brio Beach Inn was awesome! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Grounds and beach were beautiful! We loved having a fire on the beach each night of our stay (wood provided by Brio) and met some wonderful people who were also staying there. Breakfast was just enough to start our day and included microwavable breakfast sandwiches, HB eggs, yogurt cereal, milk juice and coffee."

"We really loved your place. We had the family suite with 2 beds and the bunk bed. It was prefect. We were really impressed with the quality of the breakfast. "My friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend to catch up, so we decided to go with this cabin. It was perfect for what we needed - super cozy, the beds were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have as far as cleanliness was the amount of dog hair that was on the couch/living area. Otherwise it’s a great location right next to downtown! I would recommend."

"I stayed at this property 20 years ago, and returned to northern Michigan for vacation for the first time since. It was exactly how I remembered it. Beautiful, peaceful property, with lots of activities. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room and it was spacious and decorated perfect. The Aerie restaurant was beautiful with panoramic views. The staff was extremely friendly. The pools and hot tubs were perfect for a peaceful evening activity. The hotel is great for a romantic getaway, but also family oriented. We will be back again"
