Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa

"Older hotel with an air of luxury. The room was clean and I slept well but found the bed a touch on the soft side. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service when we stayed but help was readily available to carry suitcases upstairs and to our rooms. The bedroom area was a good size but the bathroom was direly in need of renovation. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good quality selection. We dined in Churchills for dinner and our meals were nicely presented and enjoyable, although we would have appreciated a little more sauce with the Digby scallops. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had called earlier for a dinner reservation and left a message but unfortunately our call was not returned. Fortunately, obtaining a table wasn't problematic. We would have loved to use the amenities at the spa but arrived too late and left too early. The grounds looked inviting but since it was raining during our entire stay, there was no opportunity to explore. I would definitely stay here again but strongly recommend upgrades to the bathrooms."

"Room was modern, spacious and clean. Bathroom was large with a nice size vanity and a great shower. Absolutely lovely! Even a deck to sit and enjoy the docks/harbour. Check in ladies were very accommodating and helped secure a parking spot on the street out front as well as carry our luggage to the room. So helpful. We had dinner and breakfast on site and the meals were great. The only thing lacking was a hir dryer - not a big issue. I would absolutely stay there again and would very highly recommend it to travelers."

"We were only at Mike’s place one night, and primarily for access to the ferry to St John, but what a lovely surprise. Although the exterior looks a bit neglected, the interior was spotless! Clean floors, bathrooms, living room. We had to do a bit of rearranging to get towels in all of the bathrooms, but toiletries were in plentiful supply. Mike was very helpful with dinner recommendations, and we had a lovely stay in Digby."

"Place was very quaint and nostalgic. Everything felt reminiscent of an old cottage. Rooms were decent. Obviously very dated but kept up well. Showers are tiny. Fine for me but husband had a hard time with it. Really like the front seasonal room. Very cozy atmosphere. Had a lively breakfast ready for us in the morning. Service was fantastic."
