"Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Very old building with alot of charm. Can walk entire downtown area. No frills. Bar/lounge felt like a Frank Sinatra hangout. Fun karaoke.

"In July 2025, we drove from Kansas to Wisconsin to celebrate our anniversary with friends. We stopped in Dubuque at the end of our first day of traveling. The TownePlace Suites hotel there was super cozy and comfortable. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially Alyssa the manager and Terry at the front desk.
We arrived early and called to see if we could check in early. Alyssa had a room ready and let us check in ahead of time. She even helped me with something personal, going way above what we expected. We also got a room on the first floor, which was great.
Our room was very clean and comfy. The bed was firm but had a soft pillow-top, so it was perfect for sleeping. The kitchen was nicely stocked, with a big fridge. The Wi-Fi worked well. The TV was a little tricky at first, but we figured it out in the end.
Before leaving, we had an awesome breakfast! They had fresh waffles, and there were lots of other options like eggs and bacon. It wasn’t just a boring, cheap breakfast—there was plenty to eat so we weren’t hungry later.
Checking out was quick and easy. We definitely recommend TownePlace Suites Dubuque Downtown!"
