Amazing

This quaint hotel is a short, easy 10-minute walk from downtown Melton-Mowbray (plan to walk if you don't have your own car, as Uber hasn't found Melton yet and cabs are hard to come by at short notice). The grounds are well kept. Our room had a large, comfortable four-poster bed, and the bathroom was nicely outfitted with a large tub and shower attachment. The rooms are spacious and very clean. For a contactless stay, the owner was very communicative (the check-in video is very helpful) and he responded quickly. We arrived late, after an 8 hour drive, and then left early, so I can’t speak to anything beyond that it was a pleasant place to spend the night and the owner is great.

Functional clean and ideal for somewhere to rest my head

Both Chris and Yolanda were so friendly and welcoming. Despite their packed schedule running both a pub and a b&b, they were always cheerful and kind. Parking was free and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The fruity shampoo and body shower gel were so fragrant. Breakfast was delicious! And Chris was kind enough to show us a few magic tricks during our breakfast time. It was simply magical. Wishing both Chris and Yolanda a relaxing and wonderful holiday vacation to US next year.
