"A spacious ,well appointed, comfortable boat. It is situated in a really good location , right next to the Slimbridge Wetlands, and easy distance to the Costwolds . As a new letting there were a few teething problems which the friendly owners quickly rectified and made us very welcome. Due to our age we found the distance from the road a bit difficult , but it shouldn’t bother younger folk. With a good pub and cafe at start of tow path, eating out was no problem. "Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...
