"Beautiful 1800"s home furnished with suitable to the era furniture. There are 5 bedrooms and are unique to their special name. We stayed in the McIntosh Room. Spacious enough for two, with comfortable bed. The only downside is that the bath is a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms, though honestly, we had no problems in sharing the bathroom. We were there just as fall had arrived so to fault the property for not having the leaves etc. picked up was not fair. Breakfast was delicious(quiche, with fresh fruit, bagels & muffins) and the decaf coffee some of the best I've had!"

"Great room! Very modern and had everything we needed, only thing was the ice machine on our floor was broken so we couldn’t use it and the bathroom could use small toiletries as soap for hand washing which there was none. Other than that it was a great comfortable stay and would definitely be back"

"This property was everything the description lists and more. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. The game room and playrooms gave us plenty of options to stay entertained on a rainy day. The dock and boathouse were wonderful. We spent many hours down there hanging out, fishing, and on the lake.Communication was excellent. Quick responses and clear communication."

"We stayed at this lake house with a large group, and the property itself suited our needs very well. There was plenty of room for everyone to comfortably stay, and we really enjoyed our time on the lake once we got settled. Our experience was significantly impacted by poor communication with the host/management company. It took a long time to figure out how to access the kayaks and stand-up paddle-board because we couldn't get a prompt response. Later in our stay, the property lost power. There was no backup generator, flashlights, or emergency equipment on-site to help navigate the outage and we were without power for 10 hours. When I went to follow up, they have continued to be unresponsive. The location and house are wonderful but some of the communication with the management company was and has been a challenge."

"The property was much larger than expected and included a lake. Our cabin was tucked in the woods off of a one lane paved road, with good parking spaces. We had a few mosquitoes in our cabin, and also a spider that stayed in its upper corner of the bathroom. The beds and pillows in our two bedroom cabin were very comfortable. Most of the channels on the TV were a little out of focus and we were unable to mirror our phones on the TV, even through we had property internet connected. The breakfast in the main lodge was good and reasonably priced. Prices in the General Store were very reasonable compared to typical resorts. Looking forward to another stay at a future date."

"Beautiful house - easily accommodated all of us. We were sad that the water was so low and we couldn’t take advantage of the kayaks! Would have loved to had a hot tub!"
