"Our stay at Villa Il Castello was perfect in every way and I would highly recommend this Villa to everyone who wants to stay in Tuscany. From this Villa we were easily able to do day trips to Arezzo, Florence and Rome, but also spend days at the Villa enjoying the pool and the property or several villages nearby. There is a Eurospin grocery only 15 minutes away where you can get anything you want for meals, and gelato in Poppi just 15-20 minutes away. Novella was so hospitable, helpful, and responsive. You will not regret booking this Villa!"

"I stayed here with my family and we all loved it. Kids were so entertained and didn't want to leave. The villa is amazing and has everything you need. Alessio was so helpful and responsive and he came one night with his mum and made us pizza's which was great. Poppi is a lovely small town and we had cars and there a lots of small places nearby to visit. Would 100% recommend staying here "

"From the minute I made the reservation at this Villa for our girl's trip (4 of us), Monica was in communication. She was very responsive throughout our stay as well. She and Liz, whom the villa is named after, are a team and they work with their other sister and their husbands to make sure everything you need is taken care of. Monica and Liz greeted us with wine, cake, and lasagna - it doesn't get better than that! All of their cooking was delicious. The villa has three huge bedrooms, which is a luxury in Italy, and each has its own bathroom, which were also quite large. The common inside areas were nice, the kitchen is small and very well-stocked, and the outside grounds are just spectacular!We did not actually swim in the pool but we did lounge around the pool a couple of days for a bit and took a few dunks. It's very nice and the views are beautiful.The Villa is very close to the town of Poppi which is small and charming. Poppi has many shops, a few grocery stores, and a bunch of very good restaurants. We did visit the Zoo since we ate lunch there the day Monica and Liz invited us. It is owned by their family.We loved the bread service every morning - you order with Monica the day before and the bread you ordered is there in a bag on the entrance gate the next morning. Just one of the many touches of this wonderful villa.The only thing that caught us off guard was that we paid for electricity separately. And, our bill was quite expensive. Just be aware!"

"We enjoyed this nice spacious apartment. The owner Paola lives next door and was very helpful and responsive. Kitchen was well-stocked and we had everything we need. There is ample free parking nearby. Would stay here again! "

"Highly recommend as the house is beautiful, modern and very well equipped. The hosts were fabulous and treated us to a home baked cherry pie when we arrived! The house is up high above the town so has fantastic views as well. You need to stay here!"

"We absolutely loved staying at Nicola’s place- it was more beautiful than we had anticipated and the view and surroundings are breathtaking. We were 4 families and the property worked great for all of us. It’s nice to have the privacy of the individual apartments and the common space to hang out together. Nicola was an above and beyond host, he helped us with every little question and request we had and even helped us arrange for a chef to come and cook for us one evening. Thank you for everything! We hope to be back one day!"
