"We had a large group that stayed at this camp for a long weekend. We wanted a really special place to honor one person in the group battling brain cancer. He loves Grand Isle and fishing. This camp did not disappoint. It accommodated all of our needs and desires. We fried fish and boiled seafood. The camp had all of necessary pots and pans, and a place for everyone to sit. It couldn’t have accommodated us any better. The pier that is attached to the camp is amazing. The sunsets were amazing. Sleeping our large group was very comfortable. Everything was a pro, we had no cons. Working with Melanie was so easy and enjoyable. Our special weekend was everything we wished for. "

"This was an unexpected gem. Great grounds, privacy, outdoor space, and service. Room was first class - comfortable, spacious, and unique. We were getting up very early for fishing and our host got up before us and fixed a great breakfast just for us. This looks like it would be a perfect place for wedding parties looking for privacy and something a little away from the bustle of New Orleans but near enough to enjoy it if needed. Also 2 miles from marina."

"We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay at the camp, fishing wasn't great due to weather conditions but we made the best of it. Caught about six dozen crabs off the 400' fishing pier with out crab traps, caught a few fish at night with the lights. Overall it was a great trip and look forward to doing it again... "
