Our area offers all kind of outdoor activities. Winter fun - we are near the famous Kicking Horse Mountain ski resort that is famous for the champagne powder and you have a view on all the runs from Alpenrose. As well, we are close to Roger's Pass, famous for back country ski fun! There are lots of opportunities for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and sledding tours. Summer fun - world famous white water rafting, horseback riding, exploring beautiful national parks, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding .... an almost endless list! The Creekside Suite has two queen sized bed, an en suite bathroom. It is on the second level of Alpenrose. At the end of your day you can relax in our outside hot tub, or just relax in front of our majestic fire place.
We have a self entry system to access the house and room
We live on the property, in a separate house (my self and the assistant host), and are thus accessible any time. We love meeting guests and hearing about their lives and travels, but we also respect their privacy.

We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a fantastic view on the Rockies in town of Golden walking distance to groceries, pubs, restaurants and a 15 minute drive to Kickinghorsemountainresort.

We are very protective for the place, the guests and community for the covid 19 situation when you will do your reservation make sure you and your guests have (received) or will receive the vaccine before showing up for your stay. We will ask the question on your arrival and if the answer is NO or no answer we will cancel your reservation for the protection of the place, the guest and community.
