"Paid for superior 2 bedroom unit. Unit 6a.was definitely not what I call superior but obvious renovations are good. Entrance to unit a nightmare. door difficult to open and leads into small enclosure to 2 doors Unit( 6a and 6b) barely able to get luggage thru. First impressions were good especially living area. good appliances and well stocked with utensils. Sleeping area very tight, Main bedroom reading lights in wrong place so difficult to read in bed. No power points near bedside tables. Some at door entry floor entry. Bathroom very small, cabinet draw handle missing, shower not working . Old style shower in bath. My bad, should have stipulated needed walk in shower. Separate toilet very tight squeeze. This unit has some Pumistone Passage water views on a small scale but is like a fish bowl due to the many pool areas right outside living area. If you are young and fit it isn't far away from the boardwalk but if older or disabled you will need to drive to the boardwalk and cafes. Was given the impression at check out that because I should have specified walk in shower...didn't seem to matter that it didn't work anyway. "

"Lovely quiet spot and beautiful views over the water. Heated pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all. Hotel itself is a little older but the hotel and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will stay here again (family from Brisbane)."

"Great stay, central location, Ocean view from level 5 considerably obstructed by intervening high rise buildings. should be advertised as limited ocean views.No curtains on main windors made TV screen by day dulled. Small sitting room available on previous visits now locked off.Parking,lifts excellent. Would definately stay again."

"Everything at Nightcap was perfect - more than I expected. I will definitely stay here again when on the north coast. The bed and pillows were fabulous and although the hotel is on the main road, you can’t hear the traffic when in your room. Be careful of booking sites that charge extra for guaranteed/reserved parking though - it’s free for everyone - and you can’t actually reserve a spot. "
