"It’s was the perfect getaway for my situation having terminal cancer and being close to where I wanted to go , but i paid for a king bed room and only got a queen so that’s the only thing that was disappointing so I can’t complain really .."

"How wonderful! Sofitel never disappoints from arrival with super easy check in and champagne on arrival, too comfortable rooms and great facilities. Buffet breakfast was amazing! And the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Perfect location with park and so many restaurants nearby. The Tram is close and the beach a block away. We are already planning a return trip."

"We really enjoyed the location. The resort was beautiful and right on the water. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall a really lovely stay. The rooms are a bit older but they were clean and a bit larger than a standard room. The bathtub was gigantic which was really fun for the kids. Close to Sea World and a short drive to shopping. Highly recommend"

"My partner and I spent our anniversary weekend here along with other typical Gold Coast adventures. The room was lovely, tidy and clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The only thing was we weren’t sure on how power worked (you need a second card) and after being asked if we’d stayed there before and said no, we had no idea so we weren’t sure. Otherwise check in was smooth and everyone was lovely at front desk. Parking is opposite the hotel and honestly rather affordable for multiple entry/exit (if you’re wanting to drive around) but it’s not a far walk nor a hard walk. Our beach view was slightly obstructed, however we got a lovely view regardless of the beach, city and hinterland because we were on the 24th floor but laying in bed and sitting on the balcony we had a wonderful view. We had a lovely time regardless and we’d love to be back as soon as possible. Thank you for helping us make our anniversary trip wonderful :)"
