Golden Riviera is in a prime spot on the beach and close to shops, pub and lifesaving club. The large pool is lightly heated and is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The area around the pool is inviting and attractive with loungers, umbrellas and a barbeque area. The gardens are well-kept, tranquil and lush. Our apartment was bright, spacious and comfortable with a fantastic beach view. I highly recommend! The staff were welcoming and helpful and cleanliness was a high priority. Overall this resort provides a peaceful and serene environment and the adjacent beach is especially appealing.

Great location on the beach

Love the location of this resort - right on the beach and close to shops and eating places. The grounds are well cared for but some of the common areas (indoors) are a bit tired and run down. Car park underneath is great but it can be quite a hike up to the units on the 3rd floor - especially with luggage! Our 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit was great BUT it wasn’t very clean and the kitchen and its contents were pretty grubby (on the surface it looked clean). I would recommend a good spring clean of the unit and furniture. Got conflicting information from reception regarding beach towels - best to be honest and say they don’t have them and take mention of them off promotional material. We loved the seeing the planes take off right overhead (literally). Overall a good stay but a few niggles…

It was very clean and quiet. The resort was beautiful. My checkin was after 3pm on a Saturday and I did not know that the office would be closed. Thankfully a man came out and showed me what to do. Also I am 55 year old woman - I was on my own and on the top floor. From the car park I had to climb 8 flights of steps with a heavy suitcase and NO ONE to help. I was in tears but made it.

This was our second stay at Golden Riveria. We love it here. Close to airport, on the beach and across the road from shops and surf club. If you dont have a car, you can access everything you need in walking distance.

The location was ideal for being near the beach and being able to run and walk along the foreshore footpath. The view from our apartment was magnificient. The swimming pool was good in terms of being able to swim. A few minor items need fixing in the apartment.
