Beautiful Loughborough Lake, 30 mins from Kingston, Sunsets to dream of.
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed a week in July 2025. Jeff was great at responding to our questions prior to the trip and everything went smoothly. The lakeside location had amazing views and the sunsets were outstanding. It was a very hot and sunny week and we were able to choose sun on the deck and dock or find shade beneath the tent-like structure on the deck or in the adirondack chairs by the firepit, which was also lakeside. There was also a decent breeze down the lake. The cottage was very clean and while a bit smaller in the indoor living space, there was plenty of seating outdoors, which is where we spent all of our time anyway. The bunkie was a great getaway for our teen son. The kayaks allowed us to explore the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery, including several deer. All in all, it was a great week on Longborough Lake and we'd certainly go back."
"Such a beautiful place to stay, the breakfast was spectacular, the hosts were kind, gracious, and had anything we could possibly need. 10/10 we will be coming back next year. "
Family Fun Lakehouse: 4 Beds/Bunks, Sleeps 8, AC, Water Access
2/10 Terrible
"We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this property. They call it a "Family Fun Lakehouse," but I would strongly disagree with that label.First, do NOT agree to any arrangements outside the Vrbo platform. If they call or message you directly, I highly recommend asking them to communicate through Vrbo only. We made the mistake of answering their call and ended up in a very uncomfortable situation after refusing to stay at the property.Second, this place is not a private property — it’s a cabin surrounded by several other cabins and RVs packed closely together. There is absolutely no privacy. The cabin itself was very small, poorly maintained, and not clean. It felt more like a run-down campground than a vacation rental. We ended up leaving and booking another place last minute because it was simply unacceptable for our family. I would not recommend this property to anyone, especially families with young children.Save yourself the stress — book elsewhere."
