"The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We requested particular type of pillow and these were provided. Sheets and bed were great. Room was a bit on the small side and space for storing clothing was limited - could easily put a small chest of drawers in the corner by the window. Wash basin in the hallway was a bit inconvenient. Had a great stay and would definitely go back."

"staff were helpful and friendly offering help with our baggage. slight unpleasant smell on the landing at the top of the stairs. No draft beer on sale Unable to order a sandwich in the evening as we hadn't ordered earlier. everything else was great. enjoyed the swimming pool. comfortable beds clean room. would stay again"

"Breakfast was good and the staff really helpful. The spa was an extra cost and for £10 you didn't get use of the pool for your stay - you got a one hour slot ! Location and setting were great."

"Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles."
