"The building and rooms were clean and well maintained. The elevator near our room was out of order all 3 nights we were there, so we had to walk quite a ways to get in and out since my husband is handicapped and can't use the stairs. Wish they would have offered a free breakfast to make the stay perfect."

"Honestly Worth the money we spent, we got to enjoy 3 days in downtown Salem whilst staying here at this property. The only bad thing is that there was a “cat pee” odor in the bathroom so we kept the door shut and even bought a bottle of Lysol spray so we can withstand using the bathroom. The vent in the bathroom was filled with dust as well. That’s my only complaint if you will. The staff at the front desk were very nice informative and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here besides the bathroom mishap but we didn’t let that ruin our fun adventures."

"I wish that we had been able to extend our stay at the Vista. I wish that there were more independent motel/hotels as an option for overnight stays. Gorgeous views over the marsh to the beach from our well protected balcony. Handy to have a fridge, sink, and 2 burner stove top for longer stays. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our breakfasts outside with throws to wrap up in on those cool October mornings. We would definitely book here again, thank you Vista!"

"The gentleman at the desk was quick with checkin. He was friendly and welcoming, very quick to act when we requested items for our room. He was also very helpful when I had laundry issues. The lobby and hallways were very clean as was the elevator. Our room was wheelchair accessible right from the door. In this room the bed was lower and medium firm, rollin shower with a shower chair, lower counters and grab bars in bathroom with good turning radius. The room also had a kitchenette that isnt accessible as it is a galley style. You also need to order everything at the desk ie coffee maker, dishes, cookware. That was inconvenient but definitely not a big deal and I understand it is to control loss. The only real downer was this room faced the interstate so a lot of road noise all night long. We would definitely stay again."
