"I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but I’m glad I booked anyway. The service was tip top from everyone I met. The place smelled of fresh paint. My room was very clean and bathroom shower looked new. I was in Room 15 and it overlooked a courtyard, so was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again."

"We had a fantastic time at Stratton House. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and there are lots of things to see and do around Cirencester. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely traditional English feel. There was plenty of parking and the hotel bar was terrific. Jack, one of the barmen, was very attentive and friendly and really couldn’t have done a better job. The bar menu was great and we particularly enjoyed the local gin and beer options. We ate some beautiful meals there also - the leek and potato soup was the best I’ve ever eaten! "
