It does smell like subway and pizza in the hallway but it didn’t bother us (my kids love both places). Romantic getaway maybe not, but really awesome place overall. Just go in with proper expectations which we did, and we loved it! I would absolutely stay again!"

The home is as pictured ~ very clean, latest appliances, lots of space, great water pressure, comfy memory foam beds, plush/soft towels and a beautiful master bathroom! We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!"

"We just stayed at this property for two nights and really enjoyed it. Central location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I was a little worried about the noise being right on the Main Street, but the sliders blocked out the street and people noise. The place was nicely secured with a ton of parking options. Dan was very quick to respond to any questions I sent his way. Kanab is a cute small town that is close to so many awesome hikes. I highly recommend this place!"

"The Alton Lodge is awesome! It is a beautiful log structure that is warm and inviting! It was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay on our way from Zion NP to Bryce Canyon NP. We enjoyed the hiking trail up the hill behind the lodge as well as the night sky full of stars. Seeing a herd of elk on the way into Alton was icing on the cake! We highly recommend the Alton Lodge!"
