"The view is what it is all about! I can sit on the deck or in the family room (if it is raining) all day long and look at the lake and the mountains in the distance. The pool was phenomenal! That is where we spent most of our time. Whether in the pool or out under the umbrellas, it was the perfect place to be. There are 4 bedrooms: 1 has king bed and 1 has Queen bed on first floor, then upstairs are 2 bedrooms; both with Queen bed and a daybed in one room and futon in the other. The...

"Nice location in proximity of West Jefferson and Lansing. The Lansing Creeper Trail Park was nice (go to the other side of the creek for a more rustic walk) and Mount Jefferson State Park Luther Rock spur had some fantastic views. "This cabin is nestled above the New River and has an amazing view. Soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the natural beauty of the area was a bonus. Cabin was functional with all needed amenities. Bedding and bathrooms were clean. Recommendation- leaf blower to clear acorns off the deck. I would rent this property again. Communication with Brian was great and he was very responsive to a few questions I had."

"The pictures do not do this property justice. Book this place now, you won’t regret it! There is not much in this area to go and do but we just wanted 2 days away from EVERYTHING so it was perfect! Would also suggest 4 wheel drive to get to the location. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning."

"The cabin is very clean inside. There was a lot of care and attention to the details. The location is great, close to the Dollar General. If you leave the cabin be aware that there is poor cell phone service. The outside porch could use some repairs but does not effect your enjoyment. "
