"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "This property is fantastic. The pool and beach area are beautiful and relaxing. Our room was good size as well as a great bathroom with a separate shower (large size) and tub. We had a nice balcony as well with an ocean view. The views of Stromboli and the other islands was great. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a chef making custom omelets and crepes, very fresh fruit and nice pastries. The staff was very good- Noemi at the pool bar was outstanding!"
