"Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. "Not fit for purpose! Either a total comprehensive refurbishment or demolish the place. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in."

"Absolutely unreal. The staff, every single one of them are fantastic. Here for a wedding locally and we greeted were warmly by all the staff here. The room is very large, very clean and well ventilated. The small touches in the room were very welcome, good towels, comfortable large bed and great coffee tray. We went for lunch in the restaurant and it was out of this world, the duo of lamb being the absolute favourite. It was so tender, the ragu tartlet was rich and delicious with the pastry case...

"Safe in room was not working, reported to receptionist who stated that maintenance would fix the following morning. This did not happen, safe still not working 2nd evening. Tv in room had European language channels and lesser known English terrestrial channels, but none of the main channels such as BBC, ITV, Ch4 or Skynews. BBC news was however on the large screen in reception."

"Plenty of parking available. Had a very nice welcome from the owner who made me feel extremely welcome and that nothing was a an inconvenience. Very friendly and approachable. My room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. Shower was amazing, instant hot water and a good water flow. A very peaceful, relaxing evening, could not fault anything."

"We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

"Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."

Very quiet in a small village just outside Coventry, near the airport. Passage through to rear car park is quite tight so make sure that you go slowly."
