"Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed there for a recent trip visiting friends in Powell River. The place was clean and had plenty of parking. The best features was the marina & ocean view from our room's balcony, and also how quiet and secluded the place felt vs other hotels in the hearth of the town center. Can't really comment on the amenities because we didn't use much of them. I thought the liquor store was quite nice with a great selection. I hear the distillery and restaurant are good as well but we didn't get a chance to use them."

"Beautiful house in a lovely spot! Really nice patio with plenty of seating for relaxing and reading a book. Also a nice table for having meals while enjoying the bbq. Very well equipped house with everything you need for a nice vacation. Jackie and Derek are great hosts. Super friendly and helpful."

"The property has a beautiful ocean view. The place is comfortable and well equipped. There are various things for use for outside and inside entertainment. There are beach chairs and blankets which was helpful. There is an access to a really interesting beach below. The pullout bed isn’t great and there are skylights that don’t have any window coverings in the living room. The grounds around are natural but in some instances messy. Such as a pile of yard trimmings beside the rooms sitting area. The outside stairs just inside the gate are not safe and in need of repair. Over all we enjoyed our stay."
