We would return to this wonderful out of the way inn again. The staff was interested in our stay and our travels each day. They provided wonderful onsite information, as well as, a smile every time we walk in. The food at the inn was beyond expectations.

Fantastic place. Strongly recommend. Food was great. Service a bit slow, but it was a busy time and limited staff. Accommodations were lovely and one of the very best w stayed in on our Coast to Coast hike.

This property was so lovely. It was beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The attention to detail in every little bit of our stay (including the chocolate eggs left in our room when we stayed at Easter) was impressive and we felt welcomed and well-cared for by our hosts. Breakfast was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

10/10 for overall quality, attention to detail, comfort, attentiveness, full English breakfast and more. One tiny niggle - I suspect that the owner's suite was above my room and footsteps above were clearly audible (early and late only). I would strongly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

It’s a lovely old building with a good sized room and a comfy bed. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen! But it functioned! There is a lovely view and a lovely and lively pub, helpful and friendly staff and a solid breakfast. We would stay again.

It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. Nice stay

I was traveling to the area alone and had chosen to stay here. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who I later discovered was the owner. The room was very clean a pretty with everything you needed. That evening I had a drink in the bar and the owners were so friendly and welcoming offering any assistance I may need. The breakfast was delicious and while I didn’t eat a meal there the menu looked great and very varied. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Great area wonderful restaurant

We decide to stay at Molton, not York due to the relatively higher price of the York hotel and our trip plan. It proves to be a good choice. The property located in a small and quiet town with about 10-15 minutes walk to the railway station. It may look normal from outside but when you step in, you would be impressed by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The first floor is the restaurant and a bar, with so many selections. Very comfortable stay, friendly and attentive staff, great food

Overall great stay and highly recommended. Super easy to find and park. The room was clean, modern, and well presented. The owner even pre-reserved us a table for dinner, which was a welcome surprise since we were tired and extremely hungry. The food was amazing as well. All in all I would highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we received was very comfortable and clean. Parking was available near the hotel.
