"A wonderful little B&B. The bed and wardrobe were a little small but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a full sized bath and excellent powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Lovely selection of toiletries provided and tea/coffee making facilities. Delicious breakfast with plentiful options. Very central location - highly recommended. "

Plenty of lovely sitting areas throughout the hotel The room we had was lovely and comfortable, due to the revamping of the hotel its not as clean at it could be. "Returning to this historic hotel for a third visit was just as enjoyable as ever. Although my room was smaller this time, it was still beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in at no extra cost, which made my trip even more relaxing. The food remains outstanding, and the staff continue to provide a genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful service throughout. I was in Whitehaven for an event over the early May bank holiday weekend, but truthfully, the chance to stay here again was a big part of the reason for my visit. A consistently excellent experience - I wouldn’t hesitate to return again."
