"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I decided to stay in Amwaj Rotana because of the accessibility to everything- train, beach, shopping, 24 grocery store, fast food and the wonderful scenery that was very relaxing, that’s what I needed. The place is clean, non smoking area and family friendly. Staff were professional. I will definitely return to this hotel in JBR. My sister had a wonderful experience during her birthday where they surprised her with a cake. They provided 2 bottled water daily and you can ask for extra if you need it. I’m not a fan of instant coffee, I wished it was nespresso but it’s ok, I opted for tea. The fridge was very small so you cannot keep tons of food or drinks inside, but the place is near a grocery store and fast food chains. Overall, my family and I were happy with the experience and will definitely return here. "

"Our stay at JA Ocean View hotel was excellent. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great and huge variety. Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels, bed linen and fresh water daily. Tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer in room. Balcony has great view of beach with easy access which the hotel hands out complimentary beach towels and parasol. The restaurants and sports bar in the hotel are worth a visit, pizza is excellent. Great location, bars, restaurants and shops on doorstep and metro round corner which I highly recommend using. My only negatives about the hotel is the bathroom, it is in need of an update. Holes in bath tiles with raw plugs showing and silicone used in bath to cover up chips in enamel. The balcony window wasn’t very soundproof as we could hear car horns all throughout the night and traffic was busy into early hours. I had to wear war plugs. The hotel itself was quiet though. The safe in our room wasn’t the best. We had to keep pressing buttons for the display screen to appear. We were worried we couldn’t open it at times. Not sure if it was faulty. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. "
