"Dominique’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Gerardmer. It was beautifully presented and had so many personal pictures and ornaments all with a “New York” theme. We would go out in to the surrounding countryside everyday and then return late in the afternoon to sit out in the garden. We used the bikes that were provided to cycle in Gerardmer and around the lake. "All in all we had a pleased stay. The room was clean. It was small. The couch was also the bed. Nevertheless the bed slept pretty okay. There were some minor things. First, the room was advertised with a whirlpool bath, but this was not present. I didnt make a deal out of this considering that I didnt need this. Second the person checking me in and out spoke only French. This was communicated, but in the end resulted in problems. Third, it is quite annoying that you have to check in and out...
