"From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The concierge team warmly welcomed us at the front door, and the lovely lady at check-in went above and beyond to accommodate a specific request. Every member of staff worked incredibly hard, and it truly showed. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, everything was perfectly presented, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. Honestly, what a fantastic place to stay. The gym, swimming pool, and spa facilities were all excellent. What really stood out was how much the team genuinely cared about their guests, they always took the time to chat with us, ask about our day, and offer thoughtful suggestions. The location is simply perfect for exploring Edinburgh from every angle. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay."

"Great location, but the bathroom wasn’t very clean and there were issues with the hot water. Customer service was good. We only stayed two nights and spent most of our time out exploring, so it wasn’t a huge deal. The small kitchen is cute and the beds are okay."

"The only criticism I have is at the official address is in the rear. So when we first arrived, our Apple Maps app sent us up the street down a side alley to the rear door. Other than that service was good, the pub connected to the lobby was excellent. Just a great experience."

"Fantastic hotel. Great location, near to restaurants & pubs. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a must. Sadly never tried the spa or pools. "

"We were in room 449 with a balcony. Pros Nice hotel the staff were brilliant breakfast nice and great location. The bed really comfortable. Cons Thursday night slept like a log. The second night Friday little did we know there was a nightclub next to room. The booming from music went through your body. We phoned reception to see what time the club shut we were advised 3an. Didnt get to sleep till 3.30am. Which wasn't ideal as we had a long drive up to the highlands. And felt shattered in the morning. "
