"This is all about the location. Right in the city centre and accessible to everything. Well equipped room with washer dryer which was very useful. Unfortunately the rooms are very hot! They do provide a fan but it’s still very hot. The water pressure is also poor so shower isn’t great. Ironing facilities are also bad. "

"Fantastic stay at Code, Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Stayed in the deluxe double which was great and daily events list which was unexpected. Food great, cannot find fault in anything. Will definitely stay at code again next time in Edinburgh"

"Lovely friendly staff. Nice spacious room but it was in need of some tlc. Some horrible stains on the carpet & curtains and a very peeling faux leather chair. Quite dusty in the higher areas. Only 1 lift working for 10 floors so make sure you're not in a rush! Fantastic location and not too noisy considering how central you are. The bar was lovely and all the staff we came across were very helpful and friendly. "

"The IKEA furnished hotel. All modular and undersized and “efficient “, very little shelf areas, no place to set things, the bathroom is undersized and does not fit a 6 foot tall person. Staff was friendly, breakfast great. Good location."

"My room was super tiny & had no windows but it was very clean & safe. The staff were all friendly & helpful. My only minor complaint is that there is no elevator here, long flight of stairs up & down with luggage. The location is excellent."

"Lovely, helpful staff. The room was great for one night but would have been a bit small and stuffy for any longer. Good location once you know what you are doing regarding bus/tram/train for getting around. We stayed for a concert on that side of Edinburgh and it worked well for that. Little kitchen area in the room ok for making a coffee and eating a snack but nothing more really."
