"Nice hotel"

"Beautiful old building tastefully done up with a lot of flair. My bed was up some stairs from a lovely sitting area and all in a wonderful high ceilinged room with large window. Delicious breakfast across the way in sister hotel Palazzo Grillo. Staff went to huge trouble to make stay comfortable, booked a restaurant and then communicated with me via What's App. Overall excellent for both comfort and service. On a week's trip to Italy, this was by far the most comfortable bed."

"Good location for getting to the old port and the main tourist areas. Nedo who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a limited variety and the same same selection each day but given it’s free, it was decent. Our room was clean and fairly standard. The one downside was a constant noise from another A/C unit which we could hear when ours was turned off. "

"From the momement we arrived staff behaved oddly. It felt as if they were watching our every move. The only camera inside the building shows who is entering and exiting. On our 3rd night, exiting the door, my brother gets robbed of his IPhone by a street thug. We asked hotel reception to contact police and they refused saying "no police". Had a bad feeling from day one about this place. Stay away, shady people, shady area"

"Amazing staff, everything was like one the picture, the only thing was air conditioning which was faulty, apart from that good value for money, very clean place, I will stay again there with my 2 other friends. "
