"Unique! It’s a 1913 property on the National Register of Historic Places, and the oldest continuously operated hotel and bar in Alaska! Feel privileged to stay here: the current owners have done their bedt as stewards to pass this along to the future. But there are amenities for the 21st century—hot and cold running water, TV, hair dryer. Don’t be fooled: it IS an old, authentic property, with very small bedrooms, no elevator, no restaurant, and some rooms are not en suite: inquire ahead. But if you want ‘real’ this is for you. Period glass and furnishings help bring evoke the old days. There’s also an original Bar that adds flavor, and the judicious use of ‘meretricious red’ reminds sojourners of the Gold Rush days. Located in the heart of Historic Juneau, it’s well-situated to explore this under-rated travel destination city."

"Great location, recently remodeled. Room very clean & comfortable (could use luggage racks & hooks in the bathroom), staff friendly & helpful. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Parking available. Room with the harbor view was lovely, but you must not mind traffic noise."

"Amazing experience! The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. There was so much wildlife to enjoy, while still feeling completely safe. The views were absolutely breathtaking; honestly, the pictures don't do them justice!The beds were literally to die for! Some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in! We all slept incredibly well.The location was perfect too: just an easy 8-minute drive into town where all the restaurants, shops, and activities are. The property was easy to find, and everything made for a relaxing, memorable stay. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"There is something special about this place. The setting, the view, the warmth of design, soft sheets, lots of soft towels, all the little details to start up so no need to run out immediately, kitchen well equipped, a happy place, easy access to Treadwell trail or Sandy beach, good information for local activities, second time I stayed here and I hope to return next summer. Karin is attentive and cares about her guests."

"The silver bow Inn is a little jewel in Juneau. Although old, it has been updated and made very charming with little touches like custom wallpaper, and every amenity you could want. The only drawback is having to carry your luggage upstairs, but if you can do that this is the hotel to stay at."
