"The Helaina is a very high standard of bed and breakfast property. We stayed in a Premium Double room on the top floor. The room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom/shower. This room is reached by 6 flights of stairs of varying lengths (it is on the 3rd floor), so not for the infirm or those with heavy luggage. The breakfast needs to be booked, but is of a very good standard. There is no parking on the premises, but the B&B can supply a 2 day parking pass for £5. You can purchase as many as you need. The Helaina is very well placed for a short walk to the Castle and down the path to the North beach and the promenade which will take you to the main town and South beach in 15 to 20 minutes walking (or you can go via the church next to the castle).
