The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was good. We used this for a stopover in the middle of the province, and it served us well. If you are looking for a functional place that clicks all the boxes, this is it. There is no gift shop, but there is a store and a Tim Horton's across the street. It is conveniently located on the highway and it has a decent restaurant and lounge, so you can just stay in the hotel for the evening if you would like.

Great place to stay while in Gander. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold choices. There are a couple restaurants in house and the food tasted good and was decently priced.

Overall, our stay was good, but either the carpet or the air-conditioning had a weird smell. The staff were great and offered to transfer rooms, but the smell was in both rooms so we just stayed put where we were. The breakfast buffet was good, but the set up was a little crowded which made getting it onto our plates a little stressful. I think a totally different section to make toast and waffles would be a great idea to keep the lines somewhat moving. If somebody was making toast or waffles, you would have to stay there and wait while others were trying to get around you. overall, considering the price, breakfast buffet, and the pool, our stay was good.

Well, this was a last minute booking after being stuck in traffic for 7 hours. When booking this hotel on Expedia, cost over $300 it had a score of 9 out of 10. I have no idea how that was possible. Front desk staff Was very good. Very dated lobby. Dirty hallways leading to our room. Room was very dated. Room wasn't that clean. Breakfast was good.

Beds were super comfy! My only issue/complaint would be when having a dog, it's more convenient to be on the main floor and we were on the 3rd floor (with a big dog) whom was afraid of elevators (and there was no stairs to take)

Stayed one night on our way across the island. While the main lobby seems clean and somewhat updated, the rest of this hotel is extremely dated with a need for some major renovations. The room was damp, the mattress was very worn, the carpet almost felt wet under our feet. I understand there are limited places to stay in Gander and prices are obviously increased I would assume bc of Come from Away. This was SO overpriced and I would recommend finding somewhere else to spend your money. We certainly won't be staying her again. The only positive I can say is the staff was friendly.

I want to give a higher rating than I did because the bathroom and the sheets were clean and the breakfast was decent but the carpet in the room was so bad I can’t. It appeared dirty and worn and stained. And the internet is as less than good.
