"The location of Broomfield is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the town centre. Our room was stunning, lots of space, immaculately clean and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay and if we're back in Whitby we will be booking in."

I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit.
