"Room was comfortable, but had no view looking out to building. Also, room had very good storage space for clothing. Good shower facility. Walkable to China town. "

"This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Japan and I have stayed in many over the years. It was clean, modern, had a fully stocked kitchen, and was very spacious compared to Japanese standards. The housekeeping was great every day and I had a beautiful view of Mount Fuji during sunset every day and a view over Yokohama. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Hotel was beautiful, with nice garden area. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest subway station, there are not much restaurants nearby. However if you are planning to enjoy the hotel, it is nicely decorated and they have restaurants inside. "

"Great place to stay. Staff was great. The only thing was I was charged at check out for room cleaning and incidentals. I don’t mind paying for room cleaning but the little things like shampoo, toothbrush and etc…. I thought was free. I feel bad because I didn’t know this was considered incidentals and denied using any incidentals and the charge was removed. (I thought it only pertained to the mini bar). The next hotel stay is where I understood what incidentals involved. I’m so sorry for not understanding. I would stay there again. Supermarket in the basement was great and what we missed at the next hotel stay. "

"We booked a corner room which was bigger than the regular rooms. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The towels were plush as were the bathrobes, the toiletries of excellent quality, the beds and pillows very comfortable. The view of the city from the windows was great. The staff was amazing and always ready to help. There is a subway station very near but it’s not on the loop. We didn’t care because the hotel was definitely worth it. Coming back to the Celestine and its comfort was like coming home. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the continental breakfast. It was ok. All and all, I highly recommend this oasis of quiet in a noisy city."
