"Nice hotel in the middle of Salzburg. Right down the street from Mirabella Gardens, which is essentially the “central hub” of the city. Everything was good - from quality of the rooms to the food available to the staff. Imlauer has several hotels over in Salzburg, so I recommend any one of those."

Weather permitting, go to the Untersberg and Zwölferhorn mountains (use the chairlift and funiculars). Boat trip from Sankt Gilgen to Sankt Wolfgang on the Wolfgangsee. Check out the Landestheater for reasonable priced tickets for plays etc. Great beer gardens - check Salzburg city website for lots of ideas. "
