"Property is fairly close to the high street and the fruit market. Room is spacious and clean with good shower and air conditioning. Breakfast is included with the stay, a lot of different choices of pastries and fruit and it’s available until 10:30am. One downside is that there is no parking slot available on site. But hotel staff suggested a few walkable spots to park and one of them was completely free. "

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!!
