"The room was looking a bit tired . Some dirt marks a the walls and some scratches and chips on the furniture. The bed was very firm and we found it uncomfortable. The bathroom was poorly cleaned. Black mould around the bath handles and on some of the grout and on areas of the ceiling. Orange mould around the bottom of the door. I am astounded how it has stayed in this condition, the dirt and mould would have built up over time."

"Wifi did not work in rooms and while one staff member did try to help by accessing other networks these were intermittent. This issue was not fixed the whole weekend. Other issues included: - stains on carpet in room - Room service trays with food remains dumped by lift and staff walking past and doing nothing about it - Extremely unfriendly bar staff A pity as location is good and it used to be a pleasant place to stay - but the issues and general offering mean the price is not worth paying....

18. أشلي هوتل

"This hotel is poorly maintained, paint peeling from windows on the outside greets you when you arrive, inside isn’t any better. The public areas are very scruffy to say the least and the rooms are marginally better. We were given a room (10) which was below street level and it smelt of damp. We moved to another room (9) which was at the top of the building, again in desperate need of redecoration and new carpets (the one in room 9 looked filthy even though i assumed it was hoovered). Wouldn’t...

19. ذا بلاك بول إن

Cambridge

"Very helpful staff, very good food indeed for dinner in the restaurant. Their 17th Century main building is very interesting. They have a large car park . At night there is no road traffic noise. The bedroom heating and the electric bathroom towel rail didn't respond to the controls so both rooms were cold. The ceiling lighting was very inadequate and the bed's mattress felt cheap, Despite the issues I would stay here again."
