"The view of Mt.Fuji from my room could not be beat—it was perfect. I loved the onsen as well. I would say the only drawback was that it is quite a walk from the train station—about 1/2 hr. So not ideal if you have luggage. Taxis were hard to come by for us. We could not get a taxi to take us to the train station at 8am."

"The hotel is very quiet. The hotel is old but they keep it very clean. The best part is that we get to see Mount Fuji in our room and from the outdoor onsen. There are 1 cold water tank and 4 types of onsen for women, 2 outdoor, 2 indoor. The onsen is very nice. Staff members are very friendly. One of them can speak Cantonese. This hotel is recommended. I definitely will book this hotel next time when I come back to Fujikawaguchiko."

"Excellent view of Fuji from our room which we picked and great rooftop views with places to hangout. The location was walking distance to the Rope Railway, the lake, train/bus station and small streets to wander. Breakfast was included but truthfully people from the US don't eat tuna fish sandwiches for breakfast. Egg salad is almost ok but that is really a lunch thing too. The staff were very helpful and this was the only hotel in Japan where the staff spoke English well. Good size room too."

Amazing view with great service and the breakfast is also great with a mix of Japanese and western style items. Staffs ware friendly and room are clean and updated. They also have shuttle service to tourists locations around the area. "

"The Staff is awesome! They go above and beyond before your arrival if you have questions and are traveling to Japan for the first time. The service is excellent. Fujiyama Terrace food is delicious. The Thomas the train rooms was so much fun. We especially loved the free shuttle bus to many local nearby sites and stations - this was a pleasant surprise. Convenience to the fujiQ bus and fujiQ amusement park made this trip so easy. And, waking up to the view of mt. Fuji is the best part. Thank you!...

"My partner and I had an amazing time staying in the room with the private onsen and Fuji view. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and the breakfast was daunting at first but delicious. We felt looked after at all times. Some places in the hotel were a bit dusty, but not enough that it was off putting in any way. We would both gladly stay there again."
