The Space:
The Iron Gates is a large Georgian Grade II* listed emporium of vintage and antique shops, situated at the heart of Frome’s old town. The apartment sits atop the building and is the only residential dwelling in this location, with views out over the interesting buildings and developments.
You enter the property via a door on street level and take some stairs up to the first floor when you find storage for coats and shoes. The hallway leads to a huge kitchen/diner flooded with light from all angles though original Georgian sash windows. Tastefully decorated, seating for 6 and with all the equipment required for a simple meal or an extravagant dinner.
The large family bathroom is also situated on this level, with a large luxurious bath tub and separate shower. With hot water on demand, this spa like room ill have you relaxed in no time and ready for a night out on the town or for a wonderful night’s sleep in one of three brand new bedrooms, situated on the second floor.
The second floor does have a couple of low beams off the hallway, but the rest of the property has plenty of headroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and sits of the lounge and is complete with a dressing room and plenty of storage. There is another spacious bedroom by a small WC off the hall and a further single room with pull out trundle for a second single bed.
The lounge area is undeniably spacious and really is 3 spaces in one. Games area with chess board, comfy couch for watching movies on the huge 52 inch TV, and a relaxed area with record player and a selection of vinyl’s. With ‘Raves in the Grave’ an award winning record shop just a few short steps away, you can appreciate your purchases instantly at Iron Gates!

The location couldn’t be more central and boasts a private parking space, plus plenty of paid parking at a reasonable tariff.

The whole house is yours to use with no restrictions. This characterful property isn't suitable for those with mobility issues as steps internally.
One free parking space provided. Paid parking by M&S Foods. Or free parking at the top of Cork Street Car Park. More details supplied upon booking.

Bus
Excellent bus links connect to neighbouring towns such as Glastonbury and Wells. Frequent busses to Bath and Trowbridge. The bus stops are along Vallis Road and the two main bus stops in town outside Boots."

We do have quiet hours between 8am and 10pm in respect of our neighbours.
Check in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. Early/late check-in/outs are available on request for a small fee.
