Lovely place to stay & a great base to explore the western lakes & coast. The accommodation had most of the things we needed for a comfortable week away. Great sofa, comfy beds & we loved the balcony where we could relax in the sun!

Perfect for our needs. We used the cottage as a base for walks in the western lakes and it would perfect. Visiting during the winter and the cottage was lovely and warm with good set up for drying clothes. Very dog friendly.

This property was amazing, it was so easy from start to finish. The property manager responds very quickly and are very easy to communicate with. The property itself is beautiful, the open plan living downstairs has a perfect layout and the kitchen is to a very high standard and has lots of amenities for your use. Upstairs has again a high standard bathroom. The main bedroom is an amazing space the windows and doors that open onto the balcony make a big space even bigger. We didn't use the second bedroom but had a nosey and that room was a decent size for a second bedroom and looked as comfy as the main bedroom. There isn't direct access to the garden but pop you dog on their lead for the 3 steps it takes to get there and it is fully enclosed and a decent size to stretch their legs a little. Not that you would have a problem with stretching the dogs legs, there is a woodland area literally at the bottom of the drive that has a number of different walks, it is a wildlife conservation site so you cant let your dog off the lead but are fine on an extendable. We saw deers and a few red squirrels on our couple of walks which was nice. We only stayed 2 nights and wished we'd booked more. My husband and I (and I think our dog Chance too) would highly recommend staying at this property. It's the perfect little getaway and we wouldn't hesitate to book again!!

Lovely cottage. Stunning main bedroom with a balcony which would be lovely to sit on from spring until Autumn. Great for star gazing in winter time. Good location for visiting the western lakes. Lovely and warm inside the cottage in the winter which was when we used it.

Lovely warm, spacious cottage, in a quiet village location. A great location for exploring the less busy, but beautiful Western side of the Lake District.

We had booked for pre Christmas weekend with the family. I must admit , I was expecting the Christmas Tree up, as it did say it would be . But the log burner made up for it xx

An enjoyable stay in a well equipped and cosy cottage. The cottage is very well situated for visits to the Western lakes which are very beautiful. Only downsides for us were some neighbour noise during morning school run as the neighbour parks car outside the front door, and secondly there is no direct access to the garden from the cottage. This is a problem if you take dogs and feel should be specified in the cottage details. Having said that, we had a wonderful stay and would book again.

Lovely cottage but we eent to get away from Fireworks as our dog freaks out with them and as it was advertised as rural with sheep in the field we thought great but sadly not to be as Neighbours were letting them off. Great place other than this little thing ๐Ÿ˜

Booked the cottage as a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday. There was 5 people and 2 dogs staying for a week. We had a really relaxing time and enjoyed all the local walks. It is a very lovely cottage in a nice location but we was abit disappointed as we felt like it hadn't been cleaned very well as we found someone's dirty sock between the sofa cushions, a used tissue in the bedroom, some of the pans/oven trays were still dirty from previous use and it was just overall abit dusty.

A comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated cottage. Ideally located to explore the western Lakes. Only thing that could be improved on is the garden. Nice sunny spot for an evening G&T, but itโ€™s rather neglected and scruffy.

Pussywillow Cottage is spacious & very comfortable, with everything we needed. Located in a lovely, peaceful, less 'touristy' part of Cumbria, close to both the hills & the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great cottage and great walking holiday. Loved having the eggs for breakfast! Cottage well equipped, but we could have used a clothes airer to dry some washing (we got a bit muddy on the walks)

Lovely house incredibly well decorated in an idyllic setting, handy by car for the northern fella and lakes. Stock up because there isnโ€™t much in the way of shops but a couple of pretty good takeaways (menus provided) The log burning stove was lovely
