"We had a really lovely stay overall. The cottage is simple, comfortable, and very family-friendly, perfect for a relaxed getaway without any fuss. There are a few areas that feel a bit dated or in need of repair, plus a slight damp smell at times, but none of that took away too much from our experience. What really made the difference was the excellent, friendly communication from the host. Elizabeth was welcoming, responsive, and made everything easy. The location is also a huge highlight as it’s right across from a beautiful beach and conveniently situated on main bus routes, which made getting around super easy. With a few updates, this place could be even better, but as it stands, we’d happily stay here again."

"Beautiful setting and room. Views were lovely. Staff was so nice and helpful. The waitstaff in the restaurants were so personable and made an effort to remember our names. Beach was lovely. Adult pool was peaceful and beautiful. Food was very expensive all around, but they demonstrated value in warmth and Rosewood offered several dining options throughout the resort. "

"It was a wonderful place to stay. Pool and beach were loads of fun. The room was clean, convenient and well attended each day. The main property was nice, well staffed and our breakfast buffet was top shelf. I will certainly go to Grotto Bay again in the future"

"Everything about this property is wonderful except for the hill. The cottages are beautifully clean and look brand new inside. The view of the harbour is stunning. The property is peaceful. The staff is warm and welcoming and helpful in every way. The only issues we had were the hill from the main street and the village of St. George's up to the hotel, the lack of a beach shuttle because it is only seasonal and the lack of a restaurant property because it is under renovation currently. "

"Very clean. Attentive staff. Restaurant host and servers and room attendants make attempt to learn your name, get to know you. Beach not huge but secluded and very quiet. Sand is fine granular, tan-faint pink. Water is amazing of course. Went off-peak and hotel probably only 25% full. Never had a proble getting prime chair location on the beach or cabana. Overall very amazing and would consider going back again next time we are in this island paradise!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the pool house. Everything for our stay was well thought out. Communication with host was easy and informed, directions to house were clear. The house had all the amenities we needed and extra; umbrella, small cooler for beach picnic, coffee pods etc. We enjoyed meeting our hosts and would stay again when we return to Bermuda. "

It was a quick walk to the bus stop which made getting around the island very easy. Wayne was a great host - always quick to communicate and ensured we had all the info & everything we needed.
