"We had a great stay at The Witt. Lovely location outside of the chaos but up a VERY steep hill. Rooms were huge and really quirky with everything you could need and a great view. Staff were super friendly, breakfast great and the rooftop was a to sit and overlook the city from. Super walkable to all the main sights and the neighbour has some lovely shops and bars hidden away from the main tourist trail. Would definitely recommend"

Pera Star Hotel

"Overall, our stay was good, and the location was great for what we were looking for. However, there were a few things that could have made our experience better. Our first impression of the hotel was a bit discouraging. We had arranged airport transportation through the hotel, but upon arrival, we realized we had never received any instructions on where to meet our driver. We contacted the hotel hoping for some guidance but unfortunately didn’t receive much assistance. We eventually made our way to the hotel using public transportation, only to be asked to pay for the airport shuttle we never used. Thankfully, the situation was eventually resolved, but it wasn’t the best way to start our stay. The breakfast was fairly average, nothing particularly special, but it served its purpose. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. One thing I would strongly emphasize is the noise level. If you’re sensitive to noise or prefer a peaceful night’s sleep, I would reconsider staying here. The surrounding bars are extremely loud, even on a typical Thursday night, and the noise only gets worse over the weekend. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to someone who enjoys nightlife and wants to be in the middle of the action. However, if you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing stay, this probably isn’t the best option."

"We have stayed to this hotel this year for 9th time in a row. It feels like a home. We always stayed there whenever we are in Istanbul. Love the hotel, excellent location and wonderful staff. Rooms are very nice. Only thing I would add that hotel now needs some renovation. I would still stay there but wear and tear is very obvious now. They do a great job to keep it clean but furniture and bathrooms definitely need some love and attention. But still love this hotel and staff is so welcoming and friendly."
