"Just a two day stay with an overnight. We have stayed in the French Quarter area several times. This stay, we chose Hiotel Royal. Good choice! Walking distance to French Market, shops, great food. Perry C at the desk was so helpful. He knew the area well; recommendations on point. Just a real "people person" and great asset to the hotel. Would stay here again, definitely. However, if you are looking for modern...this is not it. Historic building well preserved and maintained. "
